Alternate facility and transport, storage and disposal requirements for dealings with self-amplifying mRNA (saRNA)

Under Regulations 13(2)(c) and 13(3)(b), the Regulator has agreed that certain dealings involving saRNA may be conducted in specified Physical Containment Level 2 (PC2) facilities, with transport, storage and disposal of saRNA products undertaken in accordance with the Regulator’s Guidelines for the Transport, Storage and Disposal of GMOs applicable to PC2 GMOs.
