Health Workforce Division (HWD)

An outline of the function and structure of the Health Workforce Division (HWD).

The Health Workforce Division's mission is to:

  • improve the adequacy and quality of Australia's health workforce.
The division is made up of three branches:
  • Medical Education and Training Branch
  • Nursing, Allied and Indigenous Workforce Branch
  • Workforce Development Branch
